JOURNAL:
Srila Prabhupada in his purport writes; As far as work is concerned, a Krsna conscious person does not do anything which is not connected with Krsna's interest, and thus his work is always regulated and is untainted by sense gratification.
I travel from job site to job site. Some weeks I don't have any work and others I work fifty plus hours. This week I'm helping a company that needs me on swing shifts. My last site was all day shifts. So, to be regulated, I make sure that each and every day I do my japa, read a little from Krishna conscious literature, and write in this blog. At work I chant to myself and carry an MP3 player that has bhajans and lectures on it. In an attempt to stay disconnected from the fruits of my labor I let my wife handle the finances.
And every time I get a call to go to work I thank the good Lord for the blessing!
