Bhagavad Gita As It Is -
Chapter 6 Text 27
prasanta-manasam hy enam
yoginam sukham uttamam
upaiti santa-rajasam
brahma-bhutam akalmasam

prasanta--peaceful, fixed on the lotus feet of Krsna; manasam--whose mind; hi--certainly; enam--this; yoginam--yogi; sukham--happiness; uttamam--the highest; upaiti--attains; santa-rajasam- -his passion pacified; brahma-bhutam- -liberation by identification with the Absolute; akalmasam--freed from all past sinful reactions.

TRANSLATION

The yogi whose mind is fixed on Me verily attains the highest perfection of transcendental happiness. He is beyond the mode of passion, he realizes his qualitative identity with the Supreme, and thus he is freed from all reactions to past deeds.

JOURNAL:

Doing rounds while walking across the city on a soft summer night. School let out two days ago and children are everywhere, playing without forethought as to who might see them. One three year old girl looks to her mom for reassurance when I approach.

We enjoy innocently in children's bodies. We depend on a power greater than ourselves to be there when we look for It. We get caught in the passion of the play, forgetting the joy of being in the play to begin with.
