TRANSLATION
From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kunti, never takes birth again.
JOURNAL:
Today I am fifty-one years old. Also today is my first day of school. I cannot express how weird it is to be going back to school at this age. My sixteen year old son thinks it's great. He promised to help me with my math if I help him with his writing.
I work and I study and I play music but really the only important thing I do is ready myself for the time of my death. Will I remember the Lord at that time? If I practice remembering Him while I go through the other things I do in life then chances are I will. That is the end purpose of japa. That is the end purpose of reading Bhagavad Gita. That is the end purpose of meditating in front of my murti. This life is leading to that great final exam and I am doing my best to be ready for it. Hari Bol.
